Fire What Grid?

Okay, I'm gonna presume most of you have heard about Shelley Yates and the Fire The Grid Movement by now. If this is new to you, might want to look into it...any google search will plenty of info about what her inner voices have directed the human race to do on July 17, 2007.

Gotta admit, it sure hit my happy buttons at first. I thought it was a great idea when I first heard about it a while back, and so I was delighted to find the video of Shelley doing her presentation. I watched it all, and totally fell for the story, although I caught myself flinching a few times. Like many others, I found their instructions to her to have a oroborous tattooed on her arm a bit alarming. Why not something a bit more pleasant? But knowing the power of symbology, I figured there must be a reason for such a scary icon, so I overlooked it.

After I watched the video, I got inspired to make one of my little movies about the project. I got all 'fired up' and began downloading all kinds of cool images and little movies that would help explain the idea of an energetic earth grid, something I've considered plausible for quite some time. Got some great stuff lined up for the intro, but needed to score it.

So I downloaded the music from the Fire The Grid (FTG) site that they say her friend made and which is part of her programming (another disturbing term). But when I loaded it into the movie, I would never sync up the same way twice! No matter what I did, where I cut it, it would morph and I couldn't get the images to stick with the soundtrack. And I was noticing some pretty sophisticated techniques in that music, using tones and chants in unknown tongues and such. I'm familiar with that kind of music production, and know it takes a pretty subtle knowledge of frequency and equipment to produce. No one mentioned that her collaborators had those kinds of resources.

Then I got to the point in the movie where I wanted to introduce Shelley and her message. I go to the FTG website and get that creepy feeling again. What's with the stone monoliths as the logo? Why such a stark motif? Looked like a tipped over "E" to me. Nothing Grid-Like about it. Then I got to the poster they have available for download, and I really got spooked. I've been paying attention lately to those guys who are warning us about the subliminals and how just because we are symbol illiterate, we're not immune to their influence. And this poster was full of all the tricks they mention. For starters, the globe they use is gold instead of one of those 'marble in the sky' graphics I'd encountered in my search, and there were big nasty looking gold claws piercing the continents in some kind of death grip. Yikes. And then I began to see all the stuff in the background, all kinds of weird stuff in there, too. And all the mirrors, everything was a reflection...even the words, dates and number are balanced. That's not normal, you know.  I know it sounds a bit paranoid, but it's a fact of life these days that we are being manipulated by some pretty sophisticated techniques, and onec we are aware of this, they become more and more obvious.

Anyway, that was the last red flag. I dropped the  movie project cold and began searching around on the net to see if anyone else had gotten the creeps once they looked into it. Sure enough, it wasn't just nutty Lela experiencing 'chicken skin' over this message. The forums were full of debates, sparking lots of tempers and challenging lots of new age dogmas.

So, we are days away from this phenomenon, and soon enough we'll know if it was just another tempest in a teapot. It would be so nice if we really could unite for a common, positive cause. But I am not sure if firing the grid is the right way to go about that. Especially when my google search also turned up lots of references to The Grid which had nothing to do with Shelley Yates, but everything to do with the new internet platform they are planning to put into place by 2012. If you haven't heard of this system yet, be sure and make yourself sit through the video "They Want Your Soul" on YouTube. The last five minutes describes their plans for this system that will hook us all up together. It is not what we want to see happen, believe me! Our individuality may be at stake, time to snap out of our trances and keep our heads out of the trough!
